Tantalum Capacitor Scrap Recycling
Tantalum Recycling stands among the few global leaders specializing in the complete recycling of tantalum-based capacitors. Our cutting-edge facility is purpose-built to handle every aspect of tantalum capacitor scrap recycling in-house, offering unmatched expertise and efficiency in recovering this valuable metal.
Tantalum electrolytic capacitors utilize tantalum’s unique ability to form a non-conductive, protective oxide layer, serving as the dielectric. These capacitors are crafted by pressing tantalum powder into a pellet, which acts as one 'plate,' while an electrolytic solution or conductive solid forms the other 'plate.' The oxide dielectric layer is exceptionally thin—thinner than in aluminum electrolytic capacitors—enabling high capacitance in a compact size.

Ta - Tantalum
Tantalum is a rare, hard, blue-gray, lustrous transition metal that is highly corrosion resistant.

Nb - Niobium
Niobium has physical and chemical properties similar to those of the element tantalum.
